The Lansing Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (LEJATC) trains apprentices and journeyman for the electrical construction industry. The LEJATC is a non-profit educational organization, training the members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 665. IBEW LU 665 along with the National Electrical Contractors Association, Michigan Chapter, Lansing Division jointly chair the committee.

To provide training to educate the apprentices and journeyman of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 665 and the National Electrical Contractors Association, Lansing Division, Michigan Chapter; insuring and providing the Electrical Construction Industry with the most highly trained and highly skilled workforce available.

Dale Goerge | Training Director

Dale has over 27 years experience in the electrical industry. He began his career in 1994 with the Lansing Electrical JATC and completed his apprenticeship in 1999. Dale began teaching part-time in 2000. He became a full-time instructor in 2003 and Training Director in 2015. During his career, Dale has been an apprentice, journeyman, foreman, Union officer, election judge, instructor and Training Director. He has served as an officer of the National Electrical Training Director’s Association, Chairman of the Michigan Electrical Training Directors Association and is also a member of the Midwest Electrical Training Director’s Association.

Jen Feasal | Full time Instructor

Jen began her career with the Lansing Electrical JATC in 2006. She finished her apprenticeship in 2011 where she earned the Outstanding Academic Achievement award and also the Outstanding Apprentice Graduate award. She began teaching in the apprenticeship in 2013 and completed the instructor training program through the National Training Institute in 2018. Jen currently teaches the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year curriculum for the Inside apprenticeship program.

Doug Weeks | Part Time Instructor

Doug has been a member of the IBEW for almost 20 years. He began teaching the Fire Alarm course in 2016. He has since taken on the 5th year inside curriculum along with a portion of the telecommunications curriculum. Doug completed the instructor training program through the National Training Institute in 2021.

Katie Bent | Part Time Instructor

Katie began her apprenticeship in 2014. Upon completion in 2019, she immediately took on foreman roles for a local contractor. She began teaching part time for the apprenticeship in 2020 and currently teaches the 1st year curriculum.

Dennis Meyers | Part Time Instructor

Dennis began his apprenticeship in 2014. He completed his apprenticeship in 2019 where he earned the honor of “Outstanding Apprentice Graduate”. He began teaching part time for the apprenticeship in 2020 and currently teaches the 1st year curriculum.
